2026 Key Election Dates

Use these dates to guide your conversations and keep the community informed.

Primary Election

  • Voter Registration Deadline: July 20, 2026

  • Mandatory Early Voting Period: August 8 – 15, 2026

  • Primary Election Day: August 18, 2026

Detailed Primary Timeline

  • July 4: Ballots sent to Military/Overseas (UOCAVA) voters.

  • July 9 – 16: Ballots sent to domestic voters.

  • July 20: Registration Deadline — Last day to register or change party affiliation.

  • August 6: Vote-by-Mail (VBM) Deadline

  • Requests must be in by 5:00 PM. (Note: Everyone must re-enroll as lists were recently purged!)

  • August 8 – 16: Early Voting Period — Open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

  • August 18: Primary Election Day — VBM ballots must be received by 7:00 PM.

General Election

  • Voter Registration Deadline: October 5, 2026

  • Mandatory Early Voting Period: October 24 – 31, 2026

  • General Election Day: November 3, 2026
